The first in a series of investments in state-of-the-art vehicle technology was the purchase of 60 Volvo FH 500 tractor units with turbo compound systems in 2023.

The Volvo FH 500 is a truck specially developed for long-distance transport with a D13TC engine that utilises turbo compound technology. This converts waste heat from the exhaust gases into additional energy and thus increases the efficiency of the drive.
